terms and conditions

1. These terms and conditions apply to Vincent Toland Academy courses given to students, applied for and consented to by the parent or guardian (referred to hereinafter as "student"). Changes to these terms and conditions require the written consent of Vincent Toland Academy.

2. Vincent Toland Academy reserves the right to exclude students from lessons at its discretion. Please see below our code of conduct which must be followed by each student whilst in our care:

- Vincent Toland Academy does not tolerate any bullying, bad language, racism or homophobia.

- We ask that no valuables or toys be brought into any class, as we do not take responsibility for items getting lost.

- Students are not permitted to eat or drink during class. Water is permitted. Food is allowed during breaks and lunch times.

- We ask that no mobile phones be used in class. In the case of an emergency, staff always have a contact telephone.

- No chewing gum is allowed.

- Students must show all teachers the utmost respect at all times.

- Students must show their fellow students the utmost respect at all times.

- Students must follow the teacher’s instructions at all times.

- Any disruption, lack of respect or general misbehaviour in class will not be tolerated.

3. Vincent Toland Academy reserves the right to make changes to the timetable and to the teaching staff.

4. Vincent Toland Academy reserves the right to alter the Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Your payment to Vincent Toland Academy is a contractual acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. All up to date information can be found on our website.

5. Vincent Toland Academy reserve the right to use any photography, audio and/or video footage of all students taken for any marketing material throughout the network including social media.

6. Students participate at their own risk and are obliged to inform Vincent Toland Academy and its staff of any existing injuries or medical conditions.

7. Students are obliged to take care of their own belongings. Vincent Toland Academy can accept no liability for lost or damaged belongings.

8. The liability of Vincent Toland Academy and that of its staff is restricted to class time only and then only to gross negligence.

9. Full refunds are available provided 2 weeks notice is given. After this, partial refunds are available up to 48 hours prior to the event. After this, no refunds will be available. Places are non-transferable.

10. Nuts and nut based snacks are strictly prohibited for allergy reasons (this list may be updated should specific needs arise, parents will be informed as soon as possible).

11. Parents must collect their children on time.

12. Vincent Toland Academy tries to include children with special educational needs as much as possible. If your child requires a one on one teaching assistant then it is imperative that you contact Vincent Toland Academy BEFORE booking your child's place to discuss organising this (any additional costs covered by parent / guardian).

13. In the unlikely event that a student is asked to leave the course due to behavioural issues then Vincent Toland Academy will not offer a refund of any kind.
